This minimal prep, use what you have in the cupboard kind of dish is my staple, especially this time of year when I can serve it with fresh green beans out of the garden or a big batch of mashed potatoes. It’s also great because once weekend I found a bottle of chili lime marinade in my fridge. Used that. Delish! Next weekend, a $0.89 bottle of cheap basic bbq sauce from Aldi’s. Delish! You can’t go wrong. Try some asian marinade or an italian inspired marinade for a twist.

Instructions
  1. 1. separate the chicken legs from the chicken thighs. You can also use all drumsticks or whatever cut of chicken you like. 2. Spray crock pot with nonstick spray. Put the chicken in. 3. sprinkle with salt and pepper and general chicken seasoning to taste. 4. Squirt 1/2 bottle of bbq sauce over the top. Cook on HIGH for 1-2 hours. Cook on LOW for 2 hours. Turn to warm and serve when ready.
