Instead of giving you a recipe, since we’re coming on Thanksgiving, I wanted to share my mother’s tips for cooking a nice juicy turkey.
After you rinse the turkey, liberally sprinkle salt and pepper on it. Then, after you put the stuffing inside and under the neck flap, tuck 1 tb pats of butter under each wing and between each thigh and body. That’s it. Throw a couple pats inside the neck and inside the body before you stuff it and you’ll have a delicious turkey.
