I love peeps. And I admit, when I saw the Peeps coffee creamer in stores, I had to try it. Sweet, marshmallow goodness. Pretty basic, and okay in my coffee. I think I could do better. So using my general coffee creamer base (which again I give kudos to my friends for introducing me to this recipe), I added three huge dollops of marshmallow creme. My local Aldi’s had it on sale for $0.49/container since it’s considered a “seasonal” item.

While the creme doesn’t immediately dissolve, like the candy cane in the Peppermint Mocha creamer, it will over time. So I shook the creamer, put it in the fridge, and within a few days, the marshmallow had incorporated into the sweetened condensed milk and half and half. As good as the original, I’d think. And, I can add cocoa, peppermint, or other flavors to it as well.

  1. Pour the half and half into a quart canning jar or other container. Add the can of sweetened condensed milk and marshmallow creme. Shake well. The marshmallow creme will break down as the creamer refrigerates and you'll have a sweet, creamy, marshmallow taste.
